Business as usual at ceiling manufacturer
-Our production is maintaining full speed ahead. It is business as usual, DAMPA CEO Michael Nykjær tells Building Supply.
If the demand should fluctuate in the time to come, DAMPA has established an emergency plan:
-If a small decline should occur, we will introduce a new work structure for our production. This will mean a three-day work week for the production, and supplementary unemployment benefits for our employees the last 2 days of the week. The rules regarding this has become more lenient with the latest legal actions from the government.
If against all expectations the demand were to decline drastically, DAMPA plans to send employees home with wage subsidies:
-We will do a lot and take all necessary actions before letting go of our employees.
Overtime at DAMPA
-Right now, the production is going strong. We are actually running overtime and evening time at the moment, to make all orders. We have a strong dialogue with several clients and future projects. The building sites and shipyards we collaborate with is all moving forward, Michael states.
