DAMPA® Clip-In Tile
MiFAM, the new temporary joint emergency department at OUH, was completed in 2011, temporarily because it is to be replaced by the emergency department at NYT OUH. The emergency department is built according to an American model, where the emergency department and the emergency department are in close collaboration with the rest of the hospital.
Of the emergency department's total area of 8400m2, there are DAMPA Clip-In Tiles in 7,590 sqm. They are found, among other things, in consultation rooms, waiting rooms and corridors. The cassettes are white with a beveled edge, for a calm ceiling with a fine square pattern.
In order to accommodate the inevitable noise that can occur in an emergency department, acoustic felt has been added to the tiles. The felt helps to enhance the acoustics to the benefit of the overall indoor climate.
DAMPA Clip-In Tiles are ideal for use in healthcare as they are easy to clean and they can be produced with an anti-bacterial surface. In addition, they are very user-friendly as they can be easily disassembled and reassembled when overhead installations need to be accessed.
